SUMMARY

The purpose of the Inventory Receiving Specialist is to serve as the warehouse’s representative on all deliveries and move-ins, ensuring all items are properly tagged and packaged to be stored or deployed. They are responsible for closely monitoring the company’s web-based inventory and ensuring that items are ready for projects in an orderly and efficient manner. They are also responsible for daily problem-solving activities in relation to inventory items.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Serve as the main point of contact for the company’s warehouse team for all orders and deliveries to the warehouse
• Send regular updates to respective project managers regarding the status of their ordered items
• Answer any questions the staging design team or installation team has as they relate to items on order or received at the warehouse
• Coordinate with the Senior Warehouse Manager the communication with the design team as it relates to shipping delays or orders that arrive with missing or damaged items
• Use the ASH NYC portal to digitally confirm receipt of all ordered items
• Fix any Portal inventory or project records as needed / seen during ordinary work operations
• Ensure that all items either outgoing or incoming are properly labeled, ensure that items are pulled, packaged, inspected, and loaded to await outgoing shipments, and, if applicable, that the Portal reflects current positions
• Ensure that all items are unpacked, inspected, checked in properly, and updated in portal upon return from project or initial delivery
• Assist the Senior Warehouse Manager as directed
• Communicate with the Senior Warehouse Manager when a Portal issue or idea for a change arises
• Update the portal with all status changes, notes, etc. as needed to ensure consistency and brand standards at the direction of the Senior Warehouse Manager

SUMMARY

The purpose of the Design Project Manager, Staging is to serve as a designer and project manager on the company’s staging team. This person is responsible for general project management, upholding aesthetic standards established by the company, in-depth site surveying, executing space planning in AutoCAD, Rhino, etc., initial design concept development, furniture selection, art planning, sourcing, warehouse collaboration, installation collaboration, and comprehensive client communication.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Conduct in-depth site surveys of Active Projects to record the necessary conditions for executing a full design concept, with assistance from the Junior Project Manager(s) as needed
• Create and manage the digital drawing set for all space planning purposes
• Manage the production of furniture, art, and accessory plans based on guidelines set by the Head of Staging
• Select proposed pieces either from the company’s warehouse, or via new purchases, for furniture, art, and accessory selection for Head of Staging review and approval, subject also to Director of Staging comments
• Select paint colors for the production of paint schedules
• Compile all design documentation in a concise design concept for each project
• Oversee internal company painters for any custom commissioned paintwork, either on canvas, or in situ (murals, etc.)
• Liaise with window treatment vendor and custom rug / textile vendors as needed for design execution

SUMMARY

The purpose of the Junior Project Manager, Staging is to serve as an assistant to the directors and design project managers on the company’s staging team. This person is responsible for site surveying, assisting with space planning in AutoCAD, Rhino, etc., furniture selection, art planning, sourcing, buying, warehouse coordination, installation oversight, and post-approval comment addressing. This Junior Project Manager will also work with the Head of Staging and Director of Staging on new business and operational initiatives, including assistance with fielding project inquiries, proposal generation, website and branding updates, and analytics.

• Select initial proposed pieces either from the company’s warehouse, or via new purchases, for furniture, art, and accessory selection, under the direction of a Design Project Manager
• Assist in selecting paint colors and the production of paint schedules
• Assist in the compilation all design documentation in a concise design concept for each project
• Assign and help oversee internal company painters for any custom commissioned paintwork, either on canvas, or in situ (murals, etc.)
• Liaise with window treatment vendor and custom rug / textile vendors as needed for design execution
• Liaise with and oversee third party contractor work as needed including but not limited to painting, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, etc.
• Shop online and in person for items to be used in the design of projects
• Purchase items for projects and follow company ordering guidelines
• Coordinate with the company’s Warehouse and Installation teams for day-to-day project management and receivables / deliveries
• Assist with the installation of projects under the direction of the Director of Staging, working directly with the Installation Managers and Design Project Managers
• Assist in the management of project budgets under the direction of the Director of Staging
• Assist in the management of project timelines and make any necessary updates and/or changes in order to stay on assigned timeline under the direction of the Director of Staging
• Use the company’s proprietary software for inventory and project management
• Assist in the response to and execution of internal feedback as provided by the Head of Staging and Director of Staging
• Assist in the response to and execution of external feedback as provided by Clients
• Attend weekly design meetings with the Head of Staging, Director of Staging and other design team members
• Schedule and attend meetings or calls with Clients, taking notes as needed and saving these to the appropriate project file
• Travel to and from project sites as needed
• Assist with installation styling and general moving as needed
• Assist with the input and management of project and client date using Microsoft Excel
• Assist the Head of Staging and Director of Staging with ongoing document template, website and branding updates

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• B.A. in Interior Design, Architecture, or similar field preferred
• Interior design or architecture experience, including high end residential or commercial
• Experienced with AutoCAD. Proficiency in Rhino and SketchUp preferred, but not required
• Proficient in Adobe Creative suite, Pages, and Microsoft Office
